Unifrutti Facility Linares
This fruit plant, located in the south of the Maule Region, receives the production of apples produced in the 7th and 8th Regions, to be processed during the months of February to October. The main apple varieties are Gala, Crisp Pink, Fuji and Ambrosia.
Between the months of February and May, we also process the entire production of Abate Fetel pears from this area, 95% of which come from our own orchards.
For these processes we have two production lines for each of the species, which allows us to fully meet the requirements of our customers. This is complemented by the cold storage infrastructure with conventional and Controlled Atmosphere chambers, and state-of-the-art pre-cooling systems.
In addition, the Linares area is a producer of cherries, kiwis and other varieties of pears, which are processed in our specialized plants in Requinoa and Linderos.
